An FRP hull under construction inside the Marunda yard

Marunda shipyard

Construction conducted under our own roof

Hull, accommodation, and finish are undertaken at Marunda, North Jakarta — not assembled from distant, unexamined labour.

The yard

A principal who commissions a vessel is entitled to know where it is made. AGM builds in fibreglass-reinforced plastic at Marunda, with a yard team accustomed to the particular demands of Indonesian coastal and industrial service.

Geometry, interior arrangement, and engine configuration may be adjusted to the work the boat must do. We favour a durable finish over ornamental haste. Completion is planned with the candour that a serious timetable requires.

What the yard will discuss

  • Custom FRP hulls for transfer, tourism, and support duties
  • Repair, retrofit, and refinishing of existing craft
  • Electrical, navigation, and machinery attendance
  • A build programme stated in writing before work commences

A principal sees the boat as a set of decisions: length, machinery, helm, and accommodation. We draw those decisions before we cut the first laminate at Marunda.
